Tüpraş headquarters office for 200 personnel is planned in the area called “Çamlık” within Tüpraş İzmit Refinery. Landscape stands in the forefront in the architectural design. Design is lead by both natural landscape and artificial industrial landscape. The contrast of calm and sheltering natural landscape formed by dense tree pattern pine grove and the refinery landscape, an industrially aesthetic in the horizon have been the important elements leading the architectural design. Two alternative circulation routes are designed for personnel reaching in the building. Furthermore a transparent inner courtyard is designed on the office floor of managers, aimed to be developed as a ninterior garden.
