Sultangazi Cebeci Multifamily Housing

The urban center of Sultangazi District is undergoing major urban renewal. When completed a new urban plaza and urban park surrounded by the new municipality building, wedding hall, hospital, sports center, commercial facilities and the Sultangazi Cebeci Multifamily Housing will define the new urban center.
A total of 200 units of sizes are planned, the majority being 2 bedroom and 1 living room 65 meter square, remaining are a mix of 1 bedroom and 3 bedroom units. The green roof of the underground parking becomes the open space dedicated to the housing project. The green roof provides a flat terrain in the otherwise sloped site. The skyline of housing blocks are stepped back and roof terraces are provided between blocks. The facade design is a layering of surfaces which is further emphasized by the color scheme of the facade cladding material.
