Atatürk Boulevard streching between the Alaçatı district with Çamlık Yol is 1.5km long and 30 meters wide. In the period it was constructed Atatürk Boulevard determined the border of the city. Today the boulevard nestles industrial, commercial, housing, historical buildings and public gardens and it is more like a highway remained in the city.

Atatürk Boulevard is designed in an integrity with its wide and uninterrupted pedestrian ways, bicycle roads, forestation landscape organization and city furniture while responding to the traffic and parking lot needs of the existing pattern. All the existing trees are conserved in the street. Moreover by means of bitter orange, jacaranda, cypress trees to be planted it is planned to change the highway outlook to a tree-lined boulevard complementing the city landscape.
